Prior to founding Get Your House in Order, Maeve Richmond worked six years' as a marketing, communications & events consultant for non-profit, corporate and entrepreneurial businesses. She also represented independent artists and designers in the New York area, promoting new work and producing openings at top Manhattan galleries and boutiques.

Maeve credits her mother - an avid collector of treasures and tchotchkes - as her organizational inspiration. Years of picking up, putting away and moving things about helped Maeve develop her unique and highly effective brand of organizing. An interest in holistic lifestyles, architecture and design, and Montessori school teaching allow Maeve to work seamlessly with a range of clients, from kids to pack-rats to busy professionals and parents needing extra time in their days.

A graduate of Brown University, Maeve is also an accomplished jazz musician and ceramic potter.
